John Funnell, O.D.
Dr. John Funnell's undergraduate studies were at UCLA, and he received his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from U.C. Berkeley. Dr. Funnell has advanced expertise in contact lenses, refractive surgery, and children's vision and learning. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry (F.A.A.O.) and a co-founder of the Foundation for Learning Development. Vision Source is a national network of professional optometry offices and Dr. Funnell is a Los Angeles area administrator. Dr. Funnell participates in FDA studies, lectures on practice management, and has mentored numerous optometry students and new graduates. Dr. Funnell's wife, Diane Burns M.D., is an obstetrician-gynecologist and they have three sons Forrest, Tom, and Johnny. Together they enjoy winter sports, bicycling, scuba, and travel. Dr. Funnell has been practicing at this office in Manhattan Beach since 1980 and enjoys the opportunity to be part of a dynamic optometry group which is dedicated to excellence in personalized vision care.

Gregg Okada, OD
Dr. Gregg Okada is well known for his expertise in the most specialized of contact lens fittings (including bifocals), lasik/intra-ocular lens implant surgery co-management, and advanced red or dry eye treatments. He also exhibits great interest in children's vision. In 2005, Dr. Okada was one of the first 20 optometrists in the U.S. to achieve an Orthokeratology Fellowship (FAAO). He furthered his corneal reshaping training in Tokyo, Japan alongside the prominent Dr. Kenji Yoshida, MD. A leader in this ever growing field, Dr. Okada has reshaped over 1,000 corneas to help patients reduce the need for daytime glasses or contact lenses. He received his Bachelorate degree from UCLA in 1979 and his Doctorate degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1984. Professional memberships he's currently active in are the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, American Academy of Orthokeratology, South Bay Optometric Society, and on the Laser Center (TLC) Optometry Advisory Board. Dr. Okada was raised in the South Bay and currently resides in Manhattan Beach with his wife and two children. He is truly the family eye doctor who would certainly take care of your family like his own.

Jodi Clark, O.D.
Dr. Clark has been in private practice in Manhattan Beach for the past 10 years. She provides comprehensive examinations for adults and children, contact lenses, ocular disease management and refractive surgery co-management. She received a Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1992. Upon graduation, she was involved in the FDA clinical trials of refractive surgery at Jules Stein Eye Institute and assisted in the care of surgical patients. She worked for five years in a large opthalmology group specializing in geriatric care and cataract surgery. Concurrently, she worked in a small private optometric practice where she developed a special interest in children's vision. She participated in vision screenings at a local Santa Monica elementary school for several years as well as fundraising events for the Santa Monica Boys and Girls Club. She is now raising 2 young children in Manhattan Beach and shares her time between work and pre-school activities with her children. She enjoys yoga and playing beach volleyball in her spare time.
